At last! I finally bought a griddle!
I’ve always wanted to get one so that I can make the perfect pancake and more importantly, the perfect dhosai (think of it as an Indian pancake) and chapati (think of it as an Indian tortilla). It’s been really difficult trying to make them in a frying pan because the centre of frying pans are curved inwards, causing the liquid batter to gather in the middle (thus becoming quite thick) rather than to spread out such that it becomes nice and thin. Anyway, I can imagine so many uses for this. I can make crepes, and many other stuff!
Anyway, the other day I bought this heart-shaped mould that allows you to fry heart-shaped eggs and stuff. I decided to make heart-shaped pancakes with it for The Girlfriend!
What I love about the griddle is that I can make not just one but 3 pancakes at once!
Let it cook for a while, and voila! A beautiful heart-shaped pancake!
Not only did we have pancakes, we had ham and eggs too! Best of all, we had butter and real maple syrup to go with our pancakes!
MMMmmm! Love tastes of butter and maple syrup! YUM!
MMMmmm… It’s so good that even The Girlfriend’s pet dog wanted some!
It kept staring at us in a very pitiful manner, refusing to leave!
