Today’s Packed Lunch

Today, I tried cooking fresh vegetables in the morning and… it was a success!

It was quite a simple dish: xiao bai cai, carrots, oyster mushrooms, lots of garlic, soya sauce and sesame oil. The result? DELICIOUS!

Brown rice, my vegetable dish, a hard boiled egg and Thai fish cakes. This time, I used the gravy from the vegetable dish to flavour my rice. Not bad! The liquid was sweet thanks to the carrots and garlic. YUM!

I don’t have to leave the house so early tomorrow, so I’ll try cooking meat. I plan to make a really awesome steamed chicken dish! Stay tuned!
