Have you ever heard the expression, “It’s all Greek to me!”? For those unfamiliar with the phrase, people (except the Greeks – honestly, I don’t know what equivalent expression they use. “It’s all Chinese to me?”) use this expression to imply that they don’t understand what they’re reading/listening.
Well, now that I’m writing a paper on Aristotle (and doing some in-depth research), I can now say – very literally, and not just a figure of speech – that it all looks Greek to me!
