Today’s Lunch: Aglio Olio

Tried making aglio olio today!


Today’s meal was quite good, although I wouldn’t call it a culinary success because I made a mistake. I should have first thrown in the spaghetti after simmering the garlic and chilli in olive oil for about 10 minutes. But instead, I threw in the green and red peppers and mushrooms first. This meant that the peppers and mushrooms absorbed most of the flavours instead of the spaghetti. It would have been more awesome if it was done the other way round. I’ll probably try that again, maybe perhaps with more chilli and garlic too!
